Hi, I'm a very friendly and enthusiastic history teacher. Although Social Studies is my primary concentration, I have also tutored math, technology, computer skills, english, and spanish.
I create personalized lessons in order to meet the needs of the student. I have done lessons incorporating test-taking strategies, visual aids, auditory aids, and a variety of other methods. Some of the specific activities I have included are critical thinking worksheets, converted board games for the use of learning, reading comprehension, student-centered discussion, and of course flash cards.
I am young, but I have already tutored for two years. I recently graduated from SUNY Fredonia with honors, where I recieved an award for excellence in Student Teaching.
