I have always loved tutoring, formally or informally, inside or outside of school. I love that moment when someone you're helping looks up and says "AHA! I get it!" It's the best feeling in the world.

I grew up overseas, moving around with my family - my father was a hotel manager. I attended thirteen different schools from kindergarten to high school. Through this experience, I have learned how to work with teachers of many different styles as well as learning a number of different subjects in many different environments. There are many factors that can contribute to your understanding of a subject and I'm here to help you improve!

I tutored in high school as well as in college at Cornell University. My major was Biology and Society (which concerns public health) as well as a concentration in International Relations. I have qualification in Arabic (from living in the Middle East and studying it for a few years at Cornell) and am nearly fluent in French (studied for ten years). I have a very good understanding of peoples' learning styles and am very supportive, patient, and motivating. I believe that a good education is really the foundation for anything you set out to do over the course of your life.
