I am currently purusing my Ph.D. in Chemistry through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have spent the last 6 years studying the surface of metal oxide single crystals with various surface chemistry techniques. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a chemistry major in 2002. In both my undergraduate and graduate careers I have been able to gain experience as a chemistry tutor and also I have been a laboratory teaching assistant. In undergrad I assisted professors as they taught the general chemistry labs and in graduate school I was responsible for teaching general chemistry labs and making sure the students learned the techniques and theories being taught for each lab.
