About Carol:

I was a certified teacher for four years in the public school system. I am now working with a school district in the Sparks/Reno area. I am an energetic professional with contagious optimism!!! I support appropriate education for children by implementing effective strategies for learning!!! I use meaningful activities, mostly "hands on", to enlighten and empower children to achieve their educational goals! I use positive guidance to motivate children to embrace their education!!!! I am best suited for the primary grades (K-3), but I also get good results with the intermediate grades too (4-6)! I learn as much from them as they will learn from me! Tutoring is a way for me to have "job satisfaction" that cannot be had in the regular classroom. I have tutored for three years and enjoyed every minute! I am currently working on my masters degree in curriculum and instruction. Teaching is my life - not just a job!
