I'm incredibly passionate about learning and have been my entire life. I am the oldest of 4 children and began helping people with homework at a very young age. I'm an actress/writer/musician and studied Theatre, English and Art at both Boston College and the University of Iowa, but my educational expertise is not limited to creative endeavors; I spent the bulk of my University years working in both a genetic recombination lab and a cancer research microbiology lab. In high school I skipped 2 grades in math and finished AP calculus as a Junior. I took many other AP classes and have been an honors student at every educational institution I've attended. I recently received my Masters in Classical Acting from London's Central School of Speech and Drama. (Having trouble with Shakespeare? I'll sort you out!) My teaching methods depend entirely upon the student with whom I am working--everyone learns differently and it is my goal to help each and every one of my clients reach their full potential in a patient, compassionate and engaged manner. I have experience working with people of all ages from all walks of life. I've lived in Italy, London and a variety of places in the United States. I am kind, patient, intuitive and very keen on teaching for the sake of passionate learning, not for the sake of acing tests, though the former usually begets the latter.
