Hi parents and students! My name is Jason and I am currently on my fifth year teaching a 3rd/4th grade combo GATE class in the Anaheim City School District. Tutoring requires patience and structure which I definitely have experience in with having my own classroom. I have both my clear credential teaching certificate and Masters in Elementary Education from Azusa Pacific University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Cal State University, Long Beach. Before my teaching position in Anaheim, I taught ESL classes in Seoul, South Korea for two years and in Costa Rica for one year. I am able to tutor in all subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, ELD, ESL) from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I also have experience with test preparation for CST exams and have my GATE certfication from ACSD regarding GATE depth and complexity icons and GATE curricullum that enhances critical thinking skills.
