I have always loved music and wish to help others discover the passion and joy that can be found when you possess the ability to create melody from silence. I began playing the Violin 14 years ago, and have studied privately since then. I have also studied other instruments such as the Trumpet, and I have extensive knowledge of music around the world and of the past.
I plan on teaching others the way I have been taught- to make the instrument your own and instill a part of yourself in every note that is played. Although learning the language of music is essential, passion is key to truly advance to the next level.
In addition to studying classical music privately, I have performed in a variety of orchestras, including: The Golden State Pops Orchestra, Long Beach Community Orchestra, and Long Beach Honors orchestra.
I am an advanced player, and I hope to instruct beginners and intermediate players. Private Violin lessons can be expensive, and I want to be able to offer the basic knowledge of the instrument at cheaper rates. I can help you learn basic theory, scales, vibrato, bowing techniques, and better tone. I want to help you cross to the next level, so that you can move forward to instructors with more advanced teaching techniques and knowledge.
My purpose is to help you build a solid foundation in order to progress to the next level. Along with this basic foundation, I hope to inspire, encourage, and motivate others to pursue their musical dreams.
