About Kathleen:

My name is Kathleen and I have a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Eastern Michigan University. While attending Eastern,I was an exchange student in England for a semester. I also have earned the 'Basic Manuscript Editing Certificate' from The University of Chicago. Recently, I earned 'The Michigan Method Tutor Training Certificate' from The Downriver Literacy Council. I have worked as a tutor and classroom assistant at Asher Elementary during the winter and spring semester of 2008. I worked in a remedial reading class for adults and also in an English as a Second Language class. I am currently doing one on one English tutoring for a woman with a learning disability. I am also an avid reader,writer, and traveler.
