About Jonathan:

Hello! My name is Jonathan, and I am the tutor for you. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a major in Journalism and a minor in English. I am a full-time substitute for the Round Rock ISD school system. I am also currently working on obtaining my teaching certificate and upon completion will be seeking a full-time teaching position with RRISD in the fall of 2008. During my time as a substitute I have become very popular and am always in high demand. I have very good word-of-mouth and a high volume of "repeat business". Reason being; I am extremely good with kids and I like to make sure we always have fun while learning everything that we can. I also have infinite patience and a true love of teaching. I more than understand that everyone learns at different levels and speeds and I always do everything I can to make sure that information is not just understood, but retained as well. I specialize in grades 1-5, but I am also more than happy when I can teach grades 6-8. My main goal is not just to have students learn the material and subject matter, but to have them be confident in this knowledge as well. Students feel a great joy when they can proudly raise their hand to answer a question in class.
