About Glory:

Hello, I am an enthusiastic, self-directed caring educator and tutor who believes that all children can learn and thrive in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting and appropriate to children's abilities. I am a highly skilled in developing a classroom environment that is stimulating, fun and diverse to accommodate different learning styles. I help students to ease their frustration by providing support and encouragement to them I have assisted at-risk struggling readers ages 6-15 with the fundamentals of reading on a one-to-one basis as well as group activity involvement. I have also facilitated students reading abilities by focusing on phonics, including phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading comprehension and fluency. There are many ways to to help students learn to read by utilizing activities and games to remediate their reading problems. I also have a love of computers as well. I enjoy teaching students and adults basic computer skills. Learning computer skills in our day and time is so important and extremely helpful to everyone. Computers are EVERYWHERE! I will be more than happy to help you learn simple computer skills that you will surely benefit from!
