Hi, my name is Gabe. I am 23. I have played the drums for 20 years. As a kid i studied with Alex Cline, an amazing Jazz drummer. I have studied with many other teachers but I am mostly self-taught. I am currently studying with Lee Smith. I have been teaching for 5 years. My students have gone on to be in some great bands and to study with some amazing teachers.
I play drums in a band called The Coma Lilies, as well as many others. I have done lot's of studio work and toured around the country playing experimental, rock, jazz, ska, punk, funk, and other kinds of music.
Teaching Style? I like to get to know my students and find out how they like to learn, what method works best for them, then we go with that. I wish for the lessons that i teach to be helpful and fun. I like to teach my students what they want to learn, but together we will find where you need improvement and we will improve.
