I have just graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biology and Society, and I plan on taking one year off before attending medical school. Since the age of 15, I have tutored students ages 4-14 in all subjects with "SCORE!" Educational Centers of Kaplan. I am a very friendly, approachable, and patient young woman, and I love working with children and adolescents. My teaching style involves assessment of the student's abilities through asking questions, and then teaching through conversation and hands-on activity. I prefer to teach actively rather than passively or through lecture. My best teaching subjects are math, science, and reading.
