elementary (k-6th) I am certified to teach all subjects PreK-6. I enjoy teaching the necessary skills and strategies to all readers and writers whether they are just starting out or are struggling. Since reading and writing occurs in every subject area, these are important skills to be confident in! I can help you with that. I can work with exiting homework assignments, speed reading, or just working on basic academic skills. ESL/ESOL I am an ESL certified teacher and have been teaching children and adults for a couple of years. I have had the continued pleasure of working with people of several different cultures and learning from my students in exchange! With children, I work on both social and academic language to help bridge their understanding of both of our cultures. We work on every day and academic vocabulary, reading, writing, and content materials through reading programs, projects, and games. With adults, I mostly work on work-related vocabulary for their jobs as well as relevent social vocabulary.
