About Jessica:

Hello! My name is Jessica and I am currently a graduate school student at the George Mason University Graduate School of Education. In May of 2008 I graduated from George Mason's undergraduate program with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration with Elementary Education. In regards to work experience, I am currently a preschool teacher at the George Mason Child Development Center. However, I have previously been a high school substitute teacher, as well as a middle school girls basketball coach. In regards to my teaching style, I am a firm believer in guiding students to the answer rather than the handing them the solution. By having the student learn to take responsibility for their own actions and education creates a greater sense of pride in the task completed. Also, each person is different and does not learn in the same way, by finding a unique way for each student to learn is the ultimate reward.
