About John:

I am a recent graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a BA in Classics. I know Latin and Ancient Greek and am fluent in German. I spent a year studying at the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, where I continued my study of Latin and began to learn Ancient Greek. My study of foreign and ancient languages has given me an intimate knowledge of grammar in general and has also thrown light on my native language of English. I have also taken many mathematics courses at the college level, including calculus, linear algebra, analysis, and geometry. I worked as a stitcher in a costume shop for two years, and have made many garments in the past few years. Having taken a course on the history of costume, I am also familiar with historical styles and construction techniques.
