About Jaimin:

I am a 2nd year undergrad student at Rice University in Houston, Texas. I am studying Biology/Business/Pre Med. I currently have a 3.93 GPA and was on the President's Honor Roll.
I am very active in sports and school associations.
In graduated Valedictorian of Canyon High School in New Braunfels, Texas, class of 07'.

I have been privately tutoring kids of all ages from K-college for two years. I also volunteered as a college fellow setting up office hours for other students to ask for help with their problems or questions.

I feel tutoring helps student gain confidence by excelling from a slight push. I try building a relationship with the student to allow them to make a comfortable environment for them to learn. When tutoring, I want to challenge the student to excel, I will give them advice and guidance but let them be the one to come of the explanation or answer as this will help them gain a true understanding. I will give them good summaries and explanations of topics they are weak in to allow them to understand it.
