About Karine:

I came to the United States from Paris twenty years ago. I attended Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in pursuit of a Nursing Degree. I graduated from the nursing program with honors and began my career as a Registered Nurse. After the birth of my son, the hours required as a nurse no longer fit my life. Therefore, I went back to FAU to obtain a degree in Ocean Engineering. Although I once again graduated with honors, I chose to use my newly obtained education in the field of Environmental Engineering. I have worked in this field for the last several years and found it increasingly unsatisfying as my children mature. I feel that tutoring / teaching will offer me the sense of accomplishment that I have desired.
