About Marcus:

I'm currently a student at Florida Gulf Coast University and I am pursuing a Bachelor's in Spanish. Once I graduate, I plan on becoming a high school Spanish teacher. I absolutely love languages, especially Romance languages. I currently speak English, Spanish, Italian and some French. Although it's been quite some time, I tutored some high school students in preparation for IB/AP exams. My teaching style can be sporadic unless the student knows exactly what it is he/she wants to learn. Once we have a set plan, it's all on the student to stay dedicated and focused. I am very big on grammar, pronunciation and all around just getting you to speak the language as natural-sounding as possible. My approach is to break down the language in a way that's understandable and not just throw stuff down the student's throat. Once I feel there is enough understanding, complete immersion in the language will be vital to attaining fluency.
