Hi!! My name is Todd and I have resided in Rotterdam for my entire life, where I attended the Schalmont School systems. I just graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a BA in Computer Art, a minor in Sociology, and a 3.3 GPA; 3.7 for my major, while making the Deans List several times. While attending Oneonta I was an Academic Note Taker for 4 years, providing notes for students unable to do so for themselves. I was also an Academic Tutor in my last year, providing help for students in art, History and English. In my spare time at home I enjoy landscaping, sports and I am also involved in historical re-enacting of the American Revolution and have also been a volunteer at the Saratoga National Historical Park for the past 10 years. I am very patient, creative, punctual and kind with my tutees and I believe that there are unlimited teaching styles geared toward each individual. My favorite teaching style is trying to relate subject matter to pop culture and modern life where the student may better be able to grasp the content. In all of this, if an awareness cannot be mastered or a question cannot be answered, I hold true that it is my first duty to change my methods or find the answer that is in question. The most important part here is not what I have done or where I have been but what they will be able to do and where they will be able to go.

I have shown interests in drawing since I was young. In college my major (Computer Art) required a vast experience in other mediums of art. I took the introduction course (102 average) along with the Drawing Two course which accented the students more creative side.

general computer

I have been using computers for more ears than I know now. At Oneonta I took a special course "Practical Computer Course" which taught me how computers work, their insides, taking them apart, cleaning and all other facets of the computer with the exception to specific softwares. Along with my major being Computer Art, I excel at most areas of computer usage.

Ever since I was young I have been taking pictures. With my major in Computer Art at Oneonta, my best specialization was Digital Photography. I took the intro and advanced course and excelled in each. In terms of grades I was in the top three in my intro class, and switched between first and second in my advanced course. I have taken photos for other students and other clients as well. Two of photos have been on display in Art gallery showings.

I have been using Photoshop for the past 5 years as it is a core basic in my Computer Art major. I have worked on numerous projects for myself, family and clients using my knowledge in Photoshop. Photoshop is my top software program.
