Anyone can learn, it is all about the teacher's approach. An inspired student is a successful student.
MY GOAL/YOUR GAIN:
I will customize your learning experience to meet your needs and help you not only achieve your goals, but exceed them! I'll get you organized and I'll get you ahead. I have over 20 years experience successfully teaching English, writing, grammar, public speaking, History, Philosophy - at the Elementary, Secondary, College, and Graduate levels - general business and marketing principles, general computer Internet and software usage (all Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, etc., and WordPerfect/Corel); and, SAT, LSAT, GED and Bar Exam preparation. I can also help you gain an edge in law school in your key core courses such as Torts, Contracts, Property, Evidence, Family Law, and Commercial Paper.
If you are looking for help either in entering college or law school, or passing required exams after completing your required courses, there are proven ways to take standardized tests that I employ and have successfully used. The test taking methods I teach will increase your test scores dramatically.
Regardless of your need, my focused, patient, and creative methods ensure that you or or child master and retain the chosen topic. I won't quit until you feel confident. You'll find that when we are finished you will love to learn!
WHAT GIVES ME THE RIGHT TO TEACH YOU?
I have a Bachelor's degree in History and Philosophy, and a law degree (Juris Doctor). I received a 4.0 (straight A's) as an undergraduate, and was in the top 25% of my graduating class in law school while holding several student offices and research positions, and receiving multiple academic honors and scholarships. I did this while always employed and raising a family. I have studied multiple languages (Russian, Italian, French, and Latin), and traveled all over the world. I tutored fellow students while in college and law school so successfully that I had to limit the number of students I would work with during any given semester. I was asked to teach writing by the law school's administration during my last year of law school which I profoundly enjoyed doing. Yes, I can actually make studying grammar fun! Further while building and running a successful law practice, I continued teaching at all levels and had a popular talk radio show for many years called "Know Your Rights" where I educated the general public on their legal rights. I volunteered tutoring individuals in preparation for their GED exams.
LET'S GO!
In all that I do education has been my goal. I am a natural teacher with much to share. Let me help you develop the skills you need to pass that course, ace that exam, land that job, or make that well-received business presentation. We'll have a lot of fun getting you ahead, together! |
