About Daron:

Hello, My name is Daron and I am a recent graduate of Western Washington University. While there I studied Finance and Economics. After graduation I moved to Seattle, and I am currently working at a credit union downtown. Every day I get the opportunity to teach people about positive money management skills and ways that they can save for their future. Throughout the ten months of my employment there, the company has entrusted me with the training of six new employees. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, golfing and tennis. In high school I played three years of varsity baseball. I have recently enrolled in a continuing education program through UC Davis to obtain a certificate in project management. Although I have never tutored in a professional environment, I have always tutored my friends. I helped many a friend study for and successfully pass tests in statistics, economics and history. I would describe my tutoring style as patient and understanding. I don't believe that there is a specific learning style that all students fall into. In order to effectively teach a student, the teaching must be tailored to their individual learning style.
