accountancy Dear Student: I am a 54 year old tutor from an accredited college in Connecticut. Totally the sum of my accounting experience is 61/2 years. Of that 61/2 years there was 1 year with a CPA firm that I found very satisfying and the most interesting. Also I have 3 years working as a private bookkeeper and one year in the tax department of a large company. Also I have my bachelor's of science degree from Quinnipiac University. I studied hard there. My favorite subject at the university was cost accounting. If you need help with that I can help you. I have some experience working for the State of Connecticut. As a Tax Examiner I however I didn't like working on the government's side of the tax picture anymore so I quit that job. But I got some experience there. discrete math Dear Student: While in college I majored in accounting. However my minor was mathematics. I took most of my math courses in my senior year. I did fairly well in them too. Most of them were higher math courses. Before attempting to get into college I took the SAT tests. I did fairly well on the math part with a 530. So I know my high school math and my college. statistics Dear Student: I have taken statistics twice in my career at college. The first time was at a community college where I got a "B" in the course. And the second time was at a private college where I believe I got a "C" in the subject. However what ever my grades were at those times I do remember understanding the course material. So I have a fairly good grip on the concept of statistics.
