photoshop I have a solid background in digital media, including a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Media/Documentary Film making and a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Digital Media Arts. I first gained professional experience using Photoshop as a motion graphic designer, where I designed titles and animation for non-profit and corporate films. Photoshop is a staple application that I cannot imagine living without. I use CS2 regularly at my current work place (in a non-profit documentary film company) to update our website/weblog, and occasionally for design of educational material and for web 2.0 applications. I am technically skilled and highly qualified to teach Photoshop for its integration on websites, (including image compression, and color space) as well as its integration into motion applications such as Final Cut Pro or After Effects. I am also able to teach related topics such as basic typography, photo correction and color theory. I have four years of experience training youth ages 16 to 25 to use this application. video production I've worked in video production for nearly five years. I started out as a freelancer gaining experience as a videographer, editor, motion graphics designer and DVD Author. I then joined a team in creating a start up video production company called DreamFilms. DreamFilms was unique in that it partnered with a local homeless youth refuge in Sydney Australia (Oasis Youth Support Network) to work with the youth in hands on post production and production settings. I trained the youth in a variety of skills, produced, directed, edited and created motion graphics for non-profit and corporate films. I currently work at a documentary film company where I assistant edit, and coordinate the international production. In addition to my work experience I have a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Media/Documentary Filmmaking from the College of Fine Arts at The University of New South Wales, in Sydney Australia and a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunication with a Digital Media Arts focus from Michigan State University. I have excellent technical skills in videography, lighting, Audio, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
