I started studying the art of playing the violin at the age of six. I call it an art, because that is exactly what it is- a specialization, a very fine discipline, and something that has great potential to enhance and enrich your life as well as countless others.
Throughout my young artist years, I was in several orchestra, was concertmaster of all of those orchestras, participated and won several competitions, performed as soloist with several orchestras, formed my own now professional trio, and finally got a full scholarship to university to continue to study violin.
I have studied at the Oberlin Conservatory with renown professors Marilyn McDonald and Milan Vitek, at the Royal College of Music with Ani Schnarch, and am currently finishing a degree at Boston University with Prof. Bayla Keyes.
Opportunities have taken me to France and around London to perform with various orchestras, operas, and chamber groups. With my trio, I have appeared several time on local and national, and international radio and television stations.
I have brought music into public libraries, nursing homes, public schools, and even to Town Hall in New York City.
The study of violin playing is a very special opportunity and demands commitment, passion, and patience.
If you are interested in studying, it is my pleasure to introduce you to a world of high level technique and artistry, as well as opportunities for orchestra, chamber, competitions, etc.
I have taught violin to people of all ages. If you are inspired and ready to pursue this challenging and extremely rewarding instrument, I look forward to hearing from you!
Best wishes and best of luck,
