About Lisa:

I graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va in 1989. I immediately entered law school at Howard University. At Howard, I was a member of the Howard Law Journal, where only the top students are invited to become members. Upon receiving my juris doctor (law) degree from Howard, I entered Georgetown University and earned my Masters of Law in Taxation (LLM), an advanced law degree. I worked for several large law firms before starting my own law practice. I am now the mother of four girls (including two year old twins)and my priority has become my family as opposed to my law office. Accordingly, sharing my knowledge as a tutor on a part-time basis allows me to spend the time needed with my family. I have the ability to patiently simplify confusing items. I have worked as a volunteer tutor for underpriveleged children for over 15 years in the areas of math and reading.
