About Marti:

After 30 years of working in the office, I decided to go back to school and major in Math. I am one class short of my Associates Degree. I LOVE Algebra! I love to teach Algebra! I have worked with at-risk kids for the past 6 months and love it. I have tutored college, high school and junior high school students, from pre-algebra to intermediate algebra, geometry and logic. I love working with kids, especially those who want to learn! I am patient with those who aren't so keen about doing math, especially those who are afraid of it. Math can be fun if presented the right way. I like to get the kids excited about math and show them how they will indeed be using it for the rest of their lives, so it is important!
