Hi, my name is Laura.
I am a High School Senior at Reseda High School. I have waited a long while for the opportunity to finally have a true tutoring job, rather than a once in a while session of homework help with some friends. I am so excited to finally have the chance to help other kids in school, especially in math, because I like hearing that they did great on a test that they thought would be difficult. I especially love the feeling that I helped them get there.
I have taken AP Physics, so I can definitely tutor regular physics students (especially in mechanical physics. I have also taken math classes up to AP Calculus BC, so I can help students in Math up to that far. I can speak Spanish, but I am not sure that it would be enough to tutor in Spanish. If you do need some help in Spanish, though, think of it as a bonus in addition to help in math, or whatever it is I can tutor you in.
I am most available throughout the summer. When school starts, though, I would be able to help you only a few hours after school on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. And virtually anytime on the weekends.
I would prefer tutoring sessions at my high school, a nearby school in the valley, at a public library, or at my house.
