composition (music) I have tutored students in self composition for many years. We start with a basic theme and I give them ideas on how to expand their creative ideas within form. I also teach them how to use music technology to create digital music. I have created tracks for advertising, film, and video games. Recently, one of my featured tracks was part of an award winning project for an advertisement contest sponsored by Iowa State University. piano I have over five years experience as a piano instructor. I also have fifteen years experience in performance that includes lounge and show tours. I teach students how to read sheet music and how to play by ear. Some of my students can also play and sing at the same time. They learn from their favorite artists and we adapt those recordings to the piano by ear. Your piano instruction will also include curriculum in music theory, composition, and technique.
