Hello,
I'm excited to potentially be your tutor! I graduated college with a degree in Business Administration. I worked in Los Angeles, CA for a while as a Senior Market Researcher and I will be going back to school to get a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. My goal is to eventually get my law degree.
As a business major, I had to take a lot of math classes, more specifically in statistics. So I know my statistics pretty well. I recently just took a statistics class for the behavioral sciences and received a very high A in the class (100%).
I have a lot of experience transferring my knowledge to those who need my help and I hope to do the same for you.
I'm very patient with those I teach. I was a student once, so therefore, I understand how frustrating it is sometimes when there is a concept that is hard to understand. I will sit with you and explain to you what I know in plain and simple English.
I have a good sense of humor, so I'll make sure that our tutoring sessions will not be boring...I don't like to get bored myself! Sometimes learning can be dull and boring, but it doesn't have to be! Let's have fun while we learn!
I have tutored in history, math, and science, so I have experience in one-on-one tutoring. In college, I was involved in study groups where my classmates and I helped each other learn. So I also have experience in group learning. As a working professional, I was responsible for training my staff on a one-on-one basis. So even after college, I still had the opportunity to transfer my knowledge...
Learning is a never ending process and I will be more than happy to be a part of your learning process. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions and comments!
