Do you need help with languages? French, English, or literature? We all have certain subjects in which we excel and others in which we need a little more help. Because languages are my strong suit and my passion, I'd be happy to help you advance in your own studies.
If you are not a native English speaker, I have work and volunteer experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have recently returned from teaching English to high-school students in France. I also volunteer in an ELL (English Language Learners) classroom where I work with adults as they prepare for the GED, the citizenship test, job interviews, and more. I make learning English fun by teaching practical knowledge with games and activities.
Do you speak English fluently, but need help with writing term papers or with understanding literary theory? I am also available for grammar lessons, proofreading, or writing help. I have plenty of my own literary theory books which you could borrow to help make these abstract concepts more accessible.
Parlez-vous français? Or do you want to? I graduated with a B.A. in French and have spent the equivalent of one year living in France. I have also worked in a French immersion camp at Concordia Language Villages and as a French tutor, so I have plenty of practical experience teaching this beautiful language. I tutor lower level French up to advanced French. Once again, I have French textbooks which you could borrow for extra help.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss a tutoring schedule. I am also available for one-time sessions. I live in Plymouth, but have my own transportation to meet you in any surrounding city. Good luck with your language studies! |
