About Omer:

I was born on June 17 1989. I was born in Al Ubayyid, Sudan. I was born in a small city. When I was 10, I moved to Khartoum City. I lived with my Family in Khartoum until I was 13. At 13, I moved to Egypt to live with my Father. There are ten people in my family. I didn't go to school when I was in Egypt, but when I moved to Des Moines, Iowa I started in Roosevelt High school I really like school. I had lots of friends and good teachers. I learned English very quickly because I am so smart. I like to read and do math too. Now that I live in the United States I am fluent in English. My friends and teachers think I'm brilliant because I know three languages. I go to Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa U.S.A In my spare time I like to swim and play soccer. I am on the Soccer and cross country team at my high school. I also love to read and cook... I do a lot of the cooking in my family; everyone tells me how delicious my food is. My specialty is chicken.
