About Kathleen:

My name is Kathleen and I have been a NYC Public School teacher for the past 5 years. I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade as well as 3rd and 4th in summer school. This past year I marked both the state ELA and Math exam. I know how the tests are graded and as a result I am able to prepare students to take these exams. I have had excellent results in my own classrooms and have been able to move many of my level 1 students to levels 2 and 3. I truly believe in using the students strengths to help them work on their weaknesses. I also believe learning should be fun and engaging for children.
