I am an "ex-computer programmer" with a bachelors degree in Information Systems and a minor in General Business from Grand Valley State University. I recently left the corporate world to spend more time with my family and two children (two boys ages 11 and 2) and to possibly pursue a teaching career. Teaching runs in my family. My mother has her Ph.D in Mathematics and is a math professor at Grand Valley State University and my sister is an elementary teacher. In short, I am eager to put the wealth of knowledge that I have learned about teaching from them and the art of patience that I have learned from being a mother of two, to work tutoring children of all ages.
