I am a a Massachusetts certified music teacher K-12. I have experience teaching in public schools both in Music and Special Ed. I am also a mother of 2 school age children myself.
I have studied the violin for 28 years, studied piano and did some undergraduate work in music theory.
I also hold a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of CT. I had a strong concentration in math and am comfortable tutoring math up to and including pre-calculus.

I am an accomplished violinist with 28 years of musical studies. I also have 6 years of piano studies. In college I minored in music performance with course work that included Music Theory, Music History, Harmony, Composition, Violin Performance, Symphony, Music Education.
I am also a certified music teacher for K-12 in the state of Massachusetts. I have experience teaching general music in public schools in grades preK-5.

I am an accomplished violinist with 28 years of music studies. I began playing in school in the 4th grade. I was active in orchestras and chamber ensembles all through school. I participated in All State, All New England, and the National Honors Orchestras. I was also a soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at the age of 15.
I went on to study music at the University of Connecticut. Today I am an elementary music teacher in Massachusetts. I also teach private lessons - my students range in age from 6 years old to 70+. I teach beginners and more advanced players.
