More On Tim's Subjects:

  • basketball

I have played basketball my entire life. I grew up playing in Argentina where, at age 14 I became the youngest player to play professionally. I played for the best club basketball team in the country (Boca Juniors) and won two national titles. I was also the captain of the team that represented the capital in a tournament that included the best players from each state. After graduating High School I played four years at Grace College, which is a member of the NAIA. While doing my student teaching I coached for a public school in Indiana for a year. After graduating I moved out to California where I coached the JV basketball team for one year and am currently the Varsity Coach for Grace Brethren High School. I love basketball and love its fundamentals. If you want to take your game to the next level, perhaps I can help.

  • ESL/ESOL

As I worked through College I had the privilege of working at an Alternative Learning Center, where ESL was taught three nights a week. I am fluent in Spanish, so I was able to relate Spanish speakers, and others to the English language. I taught the beginners classes for three years, and loved see students succeed. Most of my students were adults seeking to learn English to enhance their communication skills in the work force.
