About Larissa:

One of the few that are certified to teach math courses! I am certified to tutor pre-algebra and algebra, but I can also tutor any of the foundations of math courses, as well as college level math concept courses. I am very well rounded and can tutor English and Reading, and Writing also. I received a perfect score of a 6.0 on the required statewide writing test. Others usually perceive me as being very intelligent and very helpful. I find helping others to be very rewarding and I am also really patient. I am a sociology major with a 4.0 in my context area. I have a very broad understanding of concept and critical thinking and I am good at explaining so others can easily understand. You will be amused at how easy math can be once I explain the relationship of whole numbers. I don't just explain procedure, but I also make sure the student understands why we followed the procedure -- answering questions on a test will seem like common sense.
