About Alexandra:

I am a full time student in Angers, France at the Universityé Catholique de l'Ouest where I study French, English, Spanish, German and business. I have just completed my second year of a three year degree and I am the only American in my class. Before beginning my degree I studied French at an international language center, the Centre International d'Etudes Françaises (CIDEF) also in Angers, France from 2004-2006. Mercer University in Macon, Ga sent me to CIDEF as an exchange student in 2004 and I enjoyed the language and culture so much I stayed. I have been a fille-au-pair where I lived and tutored a 5 year old French boy in English. I also gave English lessons to an older man this year. I believe languages are best learned when practiced through oral comprehension as well as oral and written expression. Repetition is the key to success! I am home for the summer and would like to help others learn French.
