I have a dual B.A. degree in mathematics and economics from CUNY, so I can help you in those fields. I received A’s in the subjects I tutor, and scored 800 on the math section of the SAT.
I have over a year of formal tutoring experience in calculus and economics in the Brooklyn College Learning Center, but I also tutored many people privately. Even though the Learning Center is a free service for the students of Brooklyn College, many of those who came there preferred to pay me for private tutoring.
My attitude is positive, and I encourage students to ask questions whenever there is an issue they don’t understand. So if you find yourself lost in the class, and feel like you are missing even some basic concepts, I may be the right person for you. On the other hand, if you are already doing well on the class, I can help you make sure you cover all of the material in order to get an A.
