About Shana:

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a math endorsement. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and was on the dean's list every semester. I have spent years working with children. I have tutored in everything from elementary grades to geometry. I think that it is important that students feel that they can succeed in any subject in school, but I don't believe that giving them the answers is the correct method. I believe in letting students work out the solution with a little guidance from the teacher. It is important that they understand the concepts and not just the procedures.
