Having a natural understanding of mathematics, I taught myself algebra in grade school, where there were no such teachers around. I also wrote my first theory by the 7th grade.
I then proceeded to achieve the top score in summer session of algebra II at the local college before entering high school (which I graduated a year early from). In college I tutored mathematics, computer science, and chemistry. I also graded Calculus exams and homework at CSU, Sacramento.
I have a great understanding of mathematical theory: I have always excelled at "proofs", in fact I completed my entire undergraduate studies from theory as opposed to "memorizing" formulas. I have the ability to see and explain concepts from many angles, using analogy to enlighten students on difficult concepts.
I find mathematics an interesting subject. During my initial years of study, I pondered how anyone could get along without such knowledge.
