Hello! Thanks for reading my profile. I have been teaching swimming for over 11 years. I am Red Cross certified in CPR, AED, Blood Born Pathogens, Life guarding, Waterfront, Water Safety Instructor, and Emergency Responder. I have taught swimming at YMCA's, City Recreation Depts, and private lessons to many satisfied children and adults.
From 1999-2003, I studied Computer Science and Graphic Design at Clark University in Worcester, MA. I have extensive knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, and Adobe Photoshop. I have worked as a graphic design lab TA for multiple design programs.
I worked as a tutor for k-12, math and reading, from March '07 through December '07. I scored a 730 on my math SATs and a 700 on my math GREs and am highly capable of teaching math ranging from basics through calculus as well as English grammar, reading, and writing. I also have experience teaching ESL.
I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old. Currently, I do not play that often, but I am more than capable of teaching beginner and intermediates levels. |

I began taking piano lessons when I was 7 years old and continued for 10 years. I have preformed at weddings, hotels, and churches, and have also taught lessons to collegues. I have never had official students, though my piano instructor continually encouraged this when I was studying under her. I also have 11 years experience teaching swimming, reading and math to all ages.

I have been swimming since I was 2! I started assistant teaching when 10 and got certified as a lifeguard and swim instructor when I was 16. For the past 11 years I've been teaching swim lessons to all ages, from babies to adults, and all levels. I've taught at YMCA's, designed City Rec Dept. swim programs, and taught private lessons at home. I swam competitively for 5 years in middle school and high school and have coached teams at the YMCA. I love teaching people how to swim!
