About
James: |
|
Hi folks, my name is James. I grew up in New Hampshire, the son of 2 high school teachers, and went to college in Boston before moving to Nashville nearly 2 years ago.
My areas of specialization are English (literature, grammar, writing) and music (theory/harmony, ear training, voice).
For your reference, my qualifications in music: I was the top-rated bass vocalist in the state of New Hampshire in both jazz and classical in 1999; was All-State and All-New England on trumpet throughout high school; received a full scholarship for classical voice to the University of New Hampshire, where I was a member of the Opera Workshop; attended Berklee College of Music where I was a standout harmony and ear training student and continued my vocal studies in jazz and other contemporary idioms. I spent 5 years working as a professional singer and arranger in the greater Boston area between 2001-2006.
In addition, I have strong grammar, composition, and literary skills, and am a freelance writer of both music and editorial copy.
I hope to have the opportunity to discuss with you your goals and how I can help you achieve them! |
