My name is Lauren. I graduated from the Union County Magnet High School for Math, Science, and Technology. I have tutored in such subjects as Biology,French,and Algebra. My tutees' grades raised from as low as an F to as high as an A. I know that I am an abstract-random learner, meaning I learn better when topics are presented in other ways than "just information" and I always analyze my students' learning style to better understand how they learn and understand. I am easy-going but persistent in that I will not be satisfied until my student is comfortable with the material and able to do examples(without my help). |

I taught art to students ranging from pre-k to eighth grade. I also taught (Russian-born) children ages 7 and 5 English and simple math.

I speak and read Hebrew fluently. My family is Israeli and I can read ancient scriptures as well.

Powerpoints were weekly presentations at my technology high school. I know how to use the software both simply as well as more intricately including hyperlinking, slide transitions, and action settings.

sewing
|
My mother runs a home-based program for handbag design and construction. Since she works with all types of sewing machines (table as well as factory machines), I learned to sew at a young age. I can hand sew as well.
