About Christian:

My name is Christian. I have a BA in German from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA with a major GPA of 4.0. I received the honor of Outstanding German Foreign Language Senior in April, 2008. I have lived in Germany at various times for a total of almost two years, attending both German Gymnasium (secondary school) and upper-level university courses in the German language. Earlier in my studies I received high scores (97 and 99 percent) on the National German Test, a test designed to evaluate the aptitude of students of the language, and was subsequently recognized for my efforts. I have tutored for several semesters to students ranging in experience from beginning German to high-intermediate. When teaching, I try to use a wealth of resources from different media, and I encourage the student to guide the direction of instruction with what they would like to learn.
