About Michael:

Hi! I am a free-lance tutor who just transferred to Cal-Poly Pomona from Citrus College and have two years of experience tutoring at Citrus College. I enjoy tutoring in all subjects of Math and IQ quizzes and challenging problems/puzzles. I approach every problem using intuition (which I find to be easily teachable) and the skills that I have learned in my math classes. I believe that every student has natural strengths and weaknesses, and it is my job to identify those strengths and encourage them, and help them improve the skills they are weak or lacking in. I do not plan on becoming a math teacher in the future because I will pursue the engineering field, but I enjoy tutoring others one on one because it reinforces my own knowledge of the subjects which I tutor (particularly in math). Currently, I have not been able to find consistent tutoring hours at my school because of a budget cut, but I'm willing to try out this new service that finds tutors for students locally.
