I have over 12 years of experience working with youth. I have worked in public and private schools. I have also worked in church ministries for more than 12 years. My expertise is in the areas of religion, criminal justice, basic computer competencies, youth issues, and urban issues. I also have experience in administration, supervisor roles, computers, business, counseling, sales, photography and other related fields.
I have a Diploma in Business Management and a BS in Criminal Justice, both from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. I also have an MA and an M.Div in Biblical Studies which included multiple years of study in Biblical Hebrew and Greek as well as Counseling. Additionally, I haver certificates in Gangs, Drugs, Crime and Police Chaplaincy - all endorsed by the National Sheriffs Association and American Corrections Association.

elementary (k-6th)

As an educator for Middle and High School students and as someone educated with a Masters degree I am able to tutor elementary students in their fields of study.

I have been a regular user of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and an occasional user of Access for many years. I am also familiar with other programs such as MS Money, Quickbooks, basic photo editing software, basic music software, etc.
I have taught computer courses on Microsoft Office and computer basics to adults previously.

I have basic knowledge of Biblical Greek, having spent more than two years studying it in Graduate School. I can teach beginning and some intermediate Greek (Biblical not classical).

I can teach the basics on most aspects of law or its related subjects.I have a BS in Criminal Justice and did a lot of research in the areas of crime and drugs. I worked with the Rochester Drug Courts and currently do counseling with the Orange and Osceola County Juvenile Justice Systems. I counsel juvenile offenders and their parents to keep them out of the system.

As mentioned in my listing for computer skills, I am proficient in using all Microsoft Office Applications. I have regularly used Power Point at various stages in my teaching. I can teach Power Point up to the very advanced stages. This goes for MS Word and Excel as well. With Access I can teach the basics.

Religion is my expertise. I can teach any area of the Bible and have done so for the past 12 years. I have designed my own Surveys of the Old and New Testaments that I have taught over the past two years. I can also teach on Church History, World Religions, Apologetics, Counseling, or any other topic related to the Bible or Christianity. I also have two Masters degrees in this area.

As a student with a 3.5 GPA throughout my studies and as a research assistant for the head of the Criminal Justice Department, as well as a Notetaker for the Deaf Institute at RIT I have good study skills and research skills. Additionally, having taught in private schools and written my own curriculum I am able to help students learn how to properly study.
