Hello, I am excited about tutoring! I began tutoring in high school. I have a bachelor degree in Sociology from Salem College. I am enrolled in a master program in education at Salem College. I am specializing in reading. There is no greater joy than watching a child light up when they get it! It is wonderful to see a child become excited about learning. I work with students from whole to part. I draw from the students prior knowledge assisting students to gain skills for higher learning. Once a student realizes that they can draw from within and they are able take ownership to what they have learn. Reading and writing are the most vital skills a student needs.
