I am a pre-medical student at Brandeis University looking to become a Developmental Pediatrician. While in school, I not only study the sciences. I take education courses, Judaic Studies courses, and Sociology courses. I have maintained a 3.9 GPA and am very diligent and organized in my studies.
While I am a serious worker, I also am outgoing, enthusiastic, and creative. I am a theater performer, in an a cappella group, and serve on the board of the Brandeis National Women's Committee.
I got my first tutoring experience in high school as a Writing Center tutor. I helped students write, brainstorm, edit, and review their History, English, and Hebrew papers. The skills served me well, and I am able to teach them to others.
I have spent a summer making up my own worksheets on Jewish studies to teach a 3rd grader about the holidays, the Hebrew language and culture, and the Bible. I am creative and can work both within and without an existing structure.
Additionally, I spent a full year teaching a 5th grade Sunday school class. I am a teacher who can adapt to many types of learning styles, interests, and methods of expression. I am open-minded and love to hear from all students, and am able to be nurturing and efficient.
