About Eugene:

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ME My name is Mr. Eugene. I am a resident of Dayton, Ohio. I earned my masters degree from Wright State University with a major in special education (Intervention Specialist)and Human Services. My undergraduate major is philosophy from Urban University Rome. Currently, my profession is teaching and providing specialized services to students with leaning needs; while mentoring those with various behavior problems to help them attain their educational goals and full life potentials. The goal of my services is to help my students make a connection between what they are able to learn (content), and what they are able to do (skills)to real life and work. As a result, I utilize various methods that include but not limited to: visual, direct instruction, coral responding, and student directed instructional strategies etc. to aid maximum comprehension of my lessons. In addition, I assist my students with field trips to career centers and other institutions, to enable them explore and make career choices that match their interest and abilities. I strongly believe that experience is the best teacher; therefore, I apply role modeling strategies to help my students achieve balanced personality and healthy development. To buttress my point, I utilize the richness of my course works and experience to address the learning and behavior problems of students according to their individual needs.
