I graduated from Senn High School as an honor roll student in 2003. While in High School, I did honors in French, and received straight As in all English subjects. I've tutored Dewey Elementary School students in reading and maths. I've also volunteered tutoring in Edgewater Library during summer vacations around 2003-4 as a English, Reading, Arts, and mathematics tutor. Currently, I am doing my Bachelors in English (for third world countries). During my first year of Bachelors, I took Arabic as my Foreign Language and received straight As in it. Hopefully, I will graduate with a BA in English (for the third world countries) the following year. Currently, I'm voluntarily tutoring 5-8 graders from various High Schools who need boost with their Reading, scientific, logical and mathematical skills. I've always loved tutoring kids and both parents and the respected teachers of the kids have appreciated me now and then for helping the kids in improving their grades and GPAs. I believe that learning and sharing knowledge is a two-way process because it helps both student and teacher to learn a lot from each other. I'll be very glad if given an opportunity to help the kids academically and help them cherish their goal. |

Arabic

Since I'm a Muslim, Arabic language has been a priority in my family, as every person in my family is quite friendly with the Arabic Language. Especially, as the Holy Book Quran is in Arabic, me along with my family practice reading it daily. However, since being a Pakistani I just knew how to read Quran which is ultimately in Arabic. Later, as I was in my first year of my Bachelors degree, I took Arabic Classes as a Foreign language requirement. I finished all of the required Arabic Classes and received A in it. Now, when I look back, I am thankful for my luck to join a University that helped me not only read, but write and talk in Arabic fluently too.
